The wireless portable platform scale with remote readout is the result of a 1996 in-house project by Murray Logging Company Inc.. Faced with haul distances over 120 miles one way and a permanent set of State DOT scales along the route, Murray Logging Company set out find a way to control their loaded truck weights. A Scale system that was accurate, portable, and versatile enough to weigh any truck and trailer was required. The Maxi-Load Platform Scale is the result of that effort. The first scale was put into operation in May of 1996. The first effort to market the Scale System was initiated in March 1997. Units are now in operation in North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Texas, and Virginia.
The MAXI-LOAD PLATFORM SCALE is the Professional Grade Scale. It is rugged and heavy duty. It is woods tested. The MAXI-LOAD has demonstrated that it can accurately function on any ground suitable for the operation of a knuckle boom loader to load log trailers. It works well on rough terrain and does not require frequent recalibration. In short terms "It will work where you work. Your job does not have to be rearranged to accommodate a scale system. The scale is protected with a very solid two year warranty. Part of every sale includes the training of your operators and seeing that they are comfortable with the scale system. The MAXI-LITE is a smaller, more compact scale that offers a basic weighing capability. The MAXI-LITE is second in performance and durability only to it's bigger brother, the MAXI-LOAD.
